(1) RATE WATCH:
Conventional 30 year fixed rates are at 5.875% today with a 1% discount point and 6.125% with NO discount point. FHA rates are at 5.5% with 1% discount and 6.0% with NO discount point. We NEVER charge additional origination points, and our other fees at closing are $800.00 total. Wells Fargo Banking clients receive a $300.00 discount on closing costs.
(2) Housing Market…positive?
On the news this morning…the median home price was up slightly which could impact the market positively. That could help skiddish investors reconsider bonds..which could lower interest rates. Crude oil is down and the dollar shows signs of strengthening.
