(1) RATE WATCH:
Conventional 30 year fixed rates are at 5.625% today with a 1% discount point and 5.875% with NO discount point. FHA rates are at 5.5% with 1% discount and 6.0% with NO discount point. We NEVER charge additional origination points, and our other fees at closing are $800.00 total. Wells Fargo Banking clients receive a $300.00 discount on closing costs.
(2) Loans and Credit adjusters?
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have determined that ALL loans will be priced based on risk and credit scores. Starting today, borrowers with credit scores below 680 will now be subject to adjusters based on credit scores and loan to value.
