(1) RATE WATCH:
Conventional 30 year fixed rates are at 5.75% today with a 1% discount point and 6.0% with NO discount point. FHA rates are at 5.5% with 1% discount and 6.0% with NO discount point. We NEVER charge additional origination points, and our other fees at closing are $800.00 total. Wells Fargo Banking clients receive a $300.00 discount on closing costs.

(3) WaMu out of the mortgage business?
The “hubbub” is that WaMu will stop originating mortgages as of April 30th, 2008. We don’t know what this means at this point, but stay tuned to the news!
