The annual Arts in the Schools Grants will be awarded by the Center for the Arts Evergreen on Wednesday, Oct 15th.  Many art programs at Evergreen and Conifer schools are supplemented by these grants giving art teachers in he mounain community a chance to do something special with ther students.   Schools receiving grants are: West Jefferson Elementary, Conifer high School, Marshdale Elementary, King Muphy Elementary and Evergreen Middle School.  The public is invited to the awards ceremony.
