 Invesco Field at Mile High is best known as home to The Denver Broncos, but this premier outdoor stadium offers so much more. Beautifully designed, the distinct lines stand out just southwest of downtown Denver. In addition to the Denver Broncos, the stadium features world-class music artists in concert, local large-scale events and band competitions like Drums Along the Rockies. The Denver major league lacrosse team The Denver Outlaws call Invesco Field home. The facility is also available for private and corporate events.

The Fillmore Auditorium

Fillmore Auditorium Denver ColoradoThe Fillmore Auditorium is home to Live Nation concerts and events. Most of the concerts at this venue are rock, and seating is general admission on a first-come, first-served basis. The Behind the Music Grill offers a variety of meals, and concessions provide candy and snacks. Anyone attending a concert at The Fillmore must be at least 16 years old with proof of age. The Fillmore Box Office also has tickets available for shows at The Gothic Theatre and Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

denverperformingarts.jpgThe Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) was founded in 1972 and is dedicated to excellence in live theatre. DCPA is a multi-faceted theatrical hub for entertainment in the western region of the United States. The Denver Center presents world-class theatre and is a preferred stop for touring Broadway productions, a nurturing ground for new plays as well as home to an award-winning multi-media production facility. The Denver Center’s education department provides a national training school for actors of all ages and the National Center for Voice and Speech is the only facility in the world if its kind that is part of a performing arts organization.

DCPA is the largest tenant in the Denver Performing Arts Complex, which encompasses the 2700 seat Boettcher Concert Hall, home to the Colorado Symphony, two cabaret spaces, the Helen G. Bonfils Theatre Complex with four theatres, the Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre and the Donald R. Sewell Grand Ballroom. In 2006, the newly renovated and historically renewed original Auditorium Theatre, the cornerstone of the complex, reopened to wide acclaim as the Ellie Caulkins Opera House.

The Denver Center Theatre Company (DCTC) was created in 1979 and is the region’s largest resident professional theatre company. In 1998, the DCTC was awarded a Tony Award® for Outstanding Regional Theatre.

Denver Center Attractions (DCA) presents touring Broadway shows. Disney’s The Lion King and the revival of Hello Dolly with Carole Channing are only two of the large scale productions that have chosen Denver as a “pick” touring city because of the enthusiastic support and consistently impressive attendance records.

Colorado Symphony

The Colorado Symphony Orchestra (CSO) is the region’s only full-time professional orchestra. CSO performances in Boettcher Concert Hall in the Denver Performing Arts Complex ensure a tradition of musical excellence dating back to 1989, when CSO was formed as the successor to the Denver Symphony. Today CSO presents a wide variety of symphonic performances to 250,000 patrons every season—from classical repertoire to innovative new forms.The CSO plays a key role in making Denver and the Rocky Mountain Region an exciting place to live for music lovers of all ages. Each season presents a 21-week Masterworks series of classical programs, as well as Pops, Family, Holiday and Summer Parks concerts.

The CSO is Colorado’s only resident orchestra comprised of professional musicians employed to play symphonic music on a full-time basis. Additionally musicians actively participate in the management of the organization through the Association’s Board of Trustees, as well as all governing committees.

The New Denver Civic Theatre

Located in the heart of the arts district on Santa Fe Drive, the Denver Civic Theatre is a unique arts complex supporting the Denver arts community. The complex offers two theatres, an art gallery and adjacent café space. The complex is designed to support a variety of events, from theatre or music and dance productions to private events and receptions. The Denver Civic Theatre was founded in 1985 by Henry Lowenstein, and the focus remains on providing a diverse array of creative and artistic experiences to the community. A true community theatre, doors are open 7 days a week. The Denver Civic Theatre contributes to the development of new theatrical works, encouraging new and established artists and performers as they develop original works.

Colorado Ballet

ballet8.jpgFounded in 1951 as a ballet school by Denver natives Freidann Parker and Lillian Covillo, today Colorado Ballet is a nationally recognized regional dance company. The first public performance of The Nutcracker in 1961 played to a sold-out audience in 1961, and the company has seen continued success ever since.
Today Colorado Ballet is one of the foremost arts organizations in the area. The company is home to 31 professional dancers of national and international acclaim and 15 studio company dancers. Additionally, a $6.6 million operating budget, an expansive repertoire, and the Academies of Colorado Ballet, ensure that Colorado Ballet remains highly regarded and respected. The Colorado Ballet productions are presented at the Denver Performing Arts Complex.


Performances vary from the beauty of classical ballets to the debut of world premieres by internationally acclaimed choreographers. Every season features a rich repertoire guaranteed to entertain and delight the entire audience.

Denver Art Museum

The mission of the Denver Art Museum is to enrich the lives of Colorado and Rocky Mountain region residents through the acquisition, preservation, and presentation of art works. The museum features extensive permanent collections and temporary exhibitions, and supports these works with exemplary educational programs. One of the oldest cultural organizations in the area, the museum was created in the 1890s as the Denver Artists’ Club.

Today, this unique 356,000-square-foot museum complex is part of the Civic Center Cultural Complex and includes collection gallery space, three temporary exhibition venues, and the Lewis I. Sharp Auditorium. The Denver Art Museum is internationally recognized for its family-friendly environment, and has received critical acclaim for encouraging art appreciation through interactive activities.
