DCPA is a multi-faceted theatrical hub for entertainment in the western region of the United States. The Denver Center presents world-class theatre and is a preferred stop for touring Broadway productions, a nurturing ground for new plays as well as home to an award-winning multi-media production facility. The Denver Center’s education department provides a national training school for actors of all ages and the National Center for Voice and Speech is the only facility in the world if its kind that is part of a performing arts organization.

DCPA is the largest tenant in the Denver Performing Arts Complex, which encompasses the 2700 seat Boettcher Concert Hall, home to the Colorado Symphony, two cabaret spaces, the Helen G. Bonfils Theatre Complex with four theatres, the Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre and the Donald R. Sewell Grand Ballroom. In 2006, the newly renovated and historically renewed original Auditorium Theatre, the cornerstone of the complex, reopened to wide acclaim as the Ellie Caulkins Opera House.

The Denver Center Theatre Company (DCTC) was created in 1979 and is the region’s largest resident professional theatre company. In 1998, the DCTC was awarded a Tony Award® for Outstanding Regional Theatre.

Denver Center Attractions (DCA) presents touring Broadway shows. Disney’s The Lion King and the revival of Hello Dolly with Carole Channing are only two of the large scale productions that have chosen Denver as a “pick” touring city because of the enthusiastic support and consistently impressive attendance records.

Located in the heart of the arts district on Santa Fe Drive, the Denver Civic Theatre is a unique arts complex supporting the Denver arts community. The complex offers two theatres, an art gallery and adjacent café space. The complex is designed to support a variety of events, from theatre or music and dance productions to private events and receptions. The mission of the Denver Civic Theatre is to “infuse world class artistic excitement into an already vibrant community.”
