The fun begins at 5 pm with  the Friday Night Bulls at the the arena.

5 pm - Pre-show concert featuring Clay McClinton
6 pm - Celebrity Buckoff
7 pm - PBR Bull Riding
9 pm - Clay McClinton immediately following Bull Riding at the Little Bear.

Saturday enjoy the Rodeo Parade. Come early to mainstreet.  Festivities begin at 9am with bucking mechanical bull rides, square dancing demonstration and more.  Food, fun & a faublous time.

Hike for Hospice at Olinger Mount Lindo

The 4th annual Hike for Hospice at Olinger Mount Lindo will be Sunday, June 28, 2009. This event is to benefit  Porter Hospice and St. Anthony Hospice.  Enjoy the spectacular views and climb to 7600 feet tot he top of Olinger Mount Lineo, home of the illuminated cross in Morrison.  Release a dove in honor of a loved one. Historic Evergreen Cemetery Tour

Come enjoy a guided tour through the secluded Evergreen Cemetery adn find out who is buried there - Civil War soldures, rancher, pioneer women as well as Dwight Wilmot, who named Evergreen, Amos Post, who started the general store, the Dedisse family and other important local families. The tour will be on Saturday June 27, 2009 starting at 2pm and led by historian and Trustee of the Bear Creek Cemetery Association, Hank Alderfer with the assitance of John Kirkpatrick.  There is a $5/person admission with proceeds going to the Jefferson County Historical Society.

Participants in the tour can arrive just before 2pm on Jun 27 at the cemetery where they will receive a handout map showing the location of the family plots during the tour.

This presentation is part of the 150th anniversary celebration of the first settlers moving into the Bergen Park, Evergreen and Conifer area.  For more information call 720-497-7650.

This is a kid’s fun run to be held at the Evergreen Rodeo Arena and will include a 50 yard dash plus 1 & 2 mile races.  Registrants receive a Kid’s Training Program that emphasized healty fitness.  A post celebration will follow including great events for the entire family, Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, a petting farm, food & fun.  Proceeds will go to the Children’s Hospital and Rocky Mountain Acadamy of Evergreen.

Early registration for the July 4 Freedom Run 5K.  Sign up and pay your registration fee now.  The Freedom Run is an Independence Day tradition in Evergreen, begininning in 1982.  The run starts at 8am at Evergreen Middle School and finished with an awards ceremony and post race part at Nick’s Pro Fitness.
