On July 4th, 1982, 686 people turned out for the first Evergreen Colorado Freedom Run.  The annual event now draw over 1200 participants.  Mt. Evans can help care for uninsured and underinsured patients with funds raised from the event.  Funds are also used to support services including grief counseling, respite care for family caregivers, transportation for patients to appointments for medical purposes and Camp Comfort, a camp for children suffering from a loss.

Come join this traditional celebration at the Evergreen Colorado Lake.  Festivities include the National Reperatory Orchestra and Denver Brass as well as children’s activities and much more.  Sit back, relax and enjoy the music and take in the awe inspiring beauty of our Evergreen Colorado community.
