Jefferson County - Evergreen and Conifer
Most children in the Evergreen/Conifer area attend Jefferson County R-1 schools. Jefferson County is the largest school district in the state and the 27th largest in the U.S serving over 87,000 students. In 2001 the district’s annual budget was $487 million with an average expenditure per pupil of $5,597. A tradition of low cost and high student achievement continues to be a hallmark. According to a comparison with the top 50 school district across the nation, Jefferson County ranks second.

Clear Creek County - Evergreen
Clear Creek Schools serve those families in the western part of north Evergreen whose homes are in Clear Creek County. Parents report deep satisfaction with smaller class sizes. King Murphy Elementary and Clear Creek High are located very close to the county boundary, so school bus commutes are reasonable.

Park County - Pine and Bailey
Park County Schools serve those families in Pine and Bailey whose homes are in Park County. The student-teacher ratios are lower than Jefferson County’s. The schools are modern and progressive due to active parental involvement.
